TALLER is an external training agent for the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of the Government of the United Mexican States, therefore all our programs offer labor certification with government validity. Typically a single certificate program takes 6-7 months.

We refer to our certificate programs as "Labs" to emphasize their hands-on nature, providing experiential learning environments where students actively engage in real-world scenarios to develop practical skills and industry-specific knowledge.

1. Trend Forecasting Lab

Immerse yourself in our Trend Forecasting Lab, where you'll explore, analyze, and measure the impact of social and consumer trends on the fashion industry. Upgrade your skills to identify patterns and key micro-trends, contributing to our annual trends book. It's time to transform your understanding of fashion trends!

2. Fashion Thinking Lab

Become a Critical Fashion Mind
Duration: 6 months, 72  study hours
Start: March 12th, 2024

Join our Fashion Thinking Lab, a transformative program that delves into contemporary critical thinking on fashion. You'll explore semiotics, social theory, philosophy, and more, inspiring you to develop a personal and critical viewpoint across different realms of the fashion industry.

3. Communication & Marketing Strategy Lab 

Transform Brand Communication

This Lab-program inspires you to upgrade your theoretical and practical knowledge for applying contemporary communication strategies to a fashion brand. TALLER is another type of fashion school. Since its inception, has been on a mission to transform and elevate the fashion and luxury industry. Now, a decade later, we proudly celebrate our vision of revitalizing material culture through the training of professionals and creators.

Co-founded by Montserrat González Caballero, a visionary in textile and fashion design, our journey began when she recognized the need for trained personnel in the national fashion and luxury sector. As a member of the Belt and Road Alliance, we stand as one of the Mexican institutions fostering global collaboration in textile, science, and technology.

Tutor

Fashion journalist with ten years of experience. She is the founder and director of MEOW Magazine (2013). She is a freelance contributor to various digital and print publications such as InStyle, i-D, GQ, A The Style Guide by Andares, La Tempestad, Elle México and Badmujer. Responsible for art direction, fashion productions and styling for editorials, digital advertising campaigns for Bombavista, adidas Originals, Nike Sportswear, Vans, Liverpool among others.

NATALYA TARANKOVA

My tutor bio Natalya TarankovaA Latvian experimental photographer based in Denmark and Mexico. In her 20 year long photo career she has been working within art, documentary, experimental and commercial photography. She graduated as a teacher from alternative teacher training in Denmark in 2014 and has worked in a long list of educational projects in Europe, Africa and Asia. Natalya founded W.e.Space Cph, a creative hub in Copenhagen, were she started teaching photography to creatives and entrepreneurs and never stopped since then. Natalya showcased 2 of her solo exhibitions in Copenhagen and has been part of numerous international exhibitions and galleries. Her role as a tutor in TALLER reflects a rich tapestry of global experiences, entrepreneurial success and commitment to teaching photography. 

JESÚS ARRIAGA

Tutor

Expert in developing digital marketing and e-commerce strategies for the retail, luxury, banking, and services sectors. He specializes in campaigns focused on maximizing media investment and achieving sales conversion for both online and physical stores. With international experience in Barcelona and Madrid, he has spent 6 years in Mexico successfully implementing sales strategies for luxury, sports, and service brands. His previous roles include positions at TOUS, Adolfo Domínguez, and Grupo Martí.

HELENA MUÑOZ

Tutor

Marketing and commercialization expert with wide experience in the fashion industry, having worked at Luxottica, Mango, and DKNY. She has successfully launched various collections, redefined brand positioning, product strategies, and execution across diverse markets, with a strong focus on product. She holds a Master's degree in Marketing and Brand Identity from Barcelona and in Luxury Management from Milan.

What is the entrance level to enroll into the program? 

We do not require a specific education level to study in TALLER, however our program are designed for motivated people who are serious about their education and career in fashion. You need to be able to study in English. You have time for weekly 3 hour live sessions per certificate program. Typically a single certificate program takes 6-7 months. This Master specialization includes 5 Certificate programs. That means you need to be able to commit to 2,5-3 years of education, depending on your pace and assignment delivery.

What is an on-live program? 

On-live programme means weekly live Zoom sessions with your tutor and the study group. You can join the live sessions or watch the class in recording. We strongly encourage you to attend the live sessions to get the most of this education, however all the live sessions are available in recording to watch at your own pace later. 

How does the Master and Certificate system works?

Certificate programs start in March and August of each year as indicated in the table above. You have three years since the moment you enroll in the program to complete them all. You are free to choose in which order you prefer to follow the Certificate programs. For example, you may choose to start your Master specialization with Trend Forecasting Lab and Commercialization and Sales Strategy Lab in August 2024 and after completion you can start the other three certificate programs already in 2024 or during the following 2 years. Each Certificate program  starts once a year - in August or March. You can take 1, 2 or even 3 certificate programs simultaneously as long as you can commit to the weekly  on-live classes and practical assignments. 

How long will I pay a monthly fee?

You are welcome to pay the whole amount when you enroll into the Masters or split the total amount into 24 monthly payments. After you complete the 24 payments you are free to follow your programs until the end of the three year frame.
